The person responsible for cooking up this wonderful meal is my roommate Yang. He is an awesome chef and invited me over for dinner two nights in a row. He's really trying hard to learn English because he would like to study and work in the United States or Canada in three years. He's really bright and would definitely kick ass in the States. He learns extremely rapidly. Most of the employees at Midea (my company) are young and very talented, they are the best students from around the country. When they talk about competition in a global economy these are precisely the people they are referring to. The next generation in the USA will have to push hard because they will be competing against people that are hungry for success and eager to learn.
