Welcome, this is my room. Mickey (my roommate) was kind enough to give me the largest room and it is actually much more spacious than my room at home. It's very empty as I dont really have too many things right now (nor do I need much). The only downside is that the locals don't really see the need for a mattress, so the bed that you see...though it looks pretty standard...is actually entirely made of wood. I asked why, and there really is no reason....it's just a cultural difference. Some people lay down a thin mat over the bed but either way it is quite uncomfortable. I hear that it is supposed to be healthier to sleep on something solid...but I dont know how much I believe this because it was very uncomfortable for the first few nights. I finally gave in and invested in a second comforter to lay on. Usually I'd say "When In Rome, Do As The Romans," but in this case I think I'll make the exception.
.
By the way, that whole color configuration (blue bedsheet, pink comforter, and gold/marroon comforter) that's my doing. Though they have a very broad selection...they don't have much in terms of style. I think that they are very into WILD COLORS here as I could not find something plain. So please, dont blame me....I had few options.

Hey, this bed looks a lot bigger than the couch you sleep on at home.
