Kebabs made of chicken...OKAY....beef...OKAY....lamb...OK. The Chinese take it up a notch. I think that when Noah was unloading animals from his ark...the Chinese came and said we'll put him on a stick, and him on a stick, and him on a stick....AND VOI LA (or however you spell that)......You have the most delicious fast-food you could get. In Guangzhou I found a great place to eat in a hurry with each kebab costing about $.40USD. Though I have to admit...I haven't really tried the squid and other unidentifiable meats. Not that I am afraid of the food....I just haven't seen the health inspector pay too many visits to these outside vendors. "I'll have a squid kebab with a side order of THE BLACK PLAGUE......BIGGIE-SIZED" You get the drift?
